Whether you are just starting your recovery journey or a seasoned recovery veteran it is hard to find sober events. In American culture, alcohol tends to go hand in hand with any adult-oriented event.
We would like to help you by providing a vetted list of events, groups, and organizations in Ohio that are completely alcohol-free. We purposely did not include recovery groups such as AA, S.M.A.R.T. Recovery or other support groups as these are easily accessible and have sites and search engines for meetings and events. We also did not include organizations that offer recovery services or treatment as these are designed for those who need to get INTO recovery and may not focused on providing fun, sober events for those already in recovery.
We have to admit – when we were searching for adult events and organizations in Ohio focused on fun, recovery, and sobriety we had trouble finding ones that fit those criteria. After searching and vetting, we managed to come up with a good list that covers the major metro areas of Ohio including Cincinnati, Columbus, Dayton, and Cleveland.
