What You Can Bring

• A government-issued state ID (i.e. driver’s license, state ID or photo passport)
• Health insurance and prescription card
• No more than $25 cash (in small bills)
• One month’s worth of current prescriptions in properly labeled containers
• Over-the-counter vitamins (unopened)
• One week’s worth of comfortable, appropriate, washable seasonal clothing; Clients wash their own clothes
• The Ridge provides towels, pillows, and linens
• Shoes (tennis shoes for recreational time)
• A bathing suit (trunks for men, one piece for women, year-round)
• House slippers
• A watch
• Hairdryer, curling iron, and non-aerosol hairspray
• Electric shaver and disposable razors
• Hair clippers
• Makeup
• Writing paper, envelopes, stamps, limited recreational reading materials
• iPod or tablet that is not capable of accessing the Internet and does not have a camera, for use during recreational time only
• A toothbrush, toothpaste, and alcohol-free mouthwash

What You CANNOT Bring to The Ridge

• Smartwatches or fitness trackers
• Camera of any type
• Food or beverages
• Laptop nor any internet-connected device, with the exception of participants in our Professionals Program
• DVD player and DVDs
• Any sexually explicit or pornographic material
• Expensive jewelry (wedding rings are allowed)
• Firearms, knives, weapons, or any tools
• Perfume or cologne
• Personal cleansing wipes

Smoking and Nicotine Use

We allow you to bring unopened cigarette packages or smokeless tobacco. The Ridge can assist with nicotine replacement therapy including gum and patches. If you choose to use nicotine during your stay, please bring enough unopened supplies for at least 30-45 days. If you would like help quitting, let us know and we can assist you with resources.
