Our Addiction Treatment Programs

We offer the highest quality detox, residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient addiction treatment programs available in Ohio.

Individualized Programs Tailored to Meet Your Specific Needs

From established professionals to young adults beginning their careers, we work with you to find the level of care that works best for your life.

Each program and level of care requires varying degrees of commitment from you. Since every person has a unique history and set of needs – personal, professional, medical, and emotional – every person takes a unique path through our treatment programs. You may need to begin with detox and transition to a residential program. You may need to start with our specialized residential programs and follow up with our exclusive 52-week aftercare program.

What you need and how long you stay depends on you, the progress you make during treatment, and the various personal factors we mention above. Our staff works with you to determine the starting point and sequence of care that gives you the best chance of sustainable, lifelong recovery.

Medically Monitored Detox/Withdrawal Management

The purpose of detoxification is to give your body time to clear the toxins associated with alcohol and drugs of abuse from your body. The purpose of withdrawal management – which may include medication – is to relieve the uncomfortable emotional, psychological, and physical symptoms that appear in the absence of alcohol and drugs of abuse. Together, detox and withdrawal management prepare you for treatment, and allow you to ease into the recovery process. At The Ridge, we offer detox and withdrawal management for:

  • Alcohol
  • Opioids
  • Sedatives
  • Cannabis
  • Cocaine
  • Methamphetamine

Professionals Program

We designed this exclusive residential program to cater to the various needs of busy professionals with significant work and family responsibilities that make finding time for treatment a true challenge. In some cases, these responsibilities become a barrier to seeking addiction support and care. We understand. That’s why we collaborate with state sponsored physician health programs, lawyer assistance programs, professional boards, and monitoring agencies to preserve and/or restore your career and professional life. This program is appropriate for:

  • Doctors
  • Physician Assistants
  • Dentists
  • Veterinarians
  • Massage Therapists
  • Accountants
  • Lawyers
  • Nurses
  • Engineers
  • Architects
  • Pilots
  • Executives
  • Artists
  • Authors

  • Editors
  • Scientists
  • Teachers

We prioritize privacy and discretion. We meet and exceed the expectations required by individuals in high-intensity careers. We commit to helping you maintain the good standing, licensure, and accreditation your profession requires.

Residential Treatment

During residential treatment, you live on-site in a fully renovated mansion on our luxury estate and receive 24/7 monitoring, support, and the latest evidence-based care. Upscale accommodations and modern amenities create an ideal environment for learning, growth, and recovery. We take a holistic approach to treatment that promotes wellness in all aspects of life. Our on-site chef provides three nutritious, delicious meals per day, clinicians facilitate group and individual therapy, and you have ample opportunity to pursue healthy outdoor recreational activities on our private, exclusive grounds.

Partial Hospitalization (PHP)

During our partial hospitalization program, you participate in a full day of treatment and return home in the evening. Partial hospitalization combines the immersion of inpatient care with the convenience of outpatient care. Our PHP is appropriate if you need the structure of inpatient treatment but are stable enough to live at home. A typical PHP patient participates in treatment three to five days a week for six hours a day.

Intensive Outpatient (IOP)

During our intensive outpatient program, you participate in a half day of treatment, but live at home and have time for work, family, or other commitments before or after your treatment day. We recommend IOP when you can manage recovery independently but need help developing skills and staying on your recovery program. A typical IOP patient participates in treatment three to five days a week for three hours a day.

Aftercare

Aftercare means everything you do – with our help – after you complete treatment at The Ridge. When you commit to one of our programs, you learn treatment is the beginning of your journey – and recovery is a lifelong process. Our aftercare services include a full year of post-program professional support and access to our extensive nationwide alumni network.

We Utilize Research-Based Drug and Alcohol Treatment Programs

Drug abuse in the United States does not discriminate and anyone is capable of developing an addiction to drugs or alcohol. These people are a far cry from the “junkie” stereotype perpetuated by TV and movies, but their addictions are just as tenacious, destructive, and deadly as any other. Addiction doesn’t care who you are—once you’re hooked, you’re hooked, and you need treatment to get into recovery.

Empathetic, Non-Judgmental Recovery

Empathetic Drug Abuse Treatment at The Ridge

Addiction is a disease. We know how difficult addiction is, and that having the disease doesn’t say anything about a person’s character or moral fiber. It has been clinically shown that dependence on mood-altering drugs alters a person’s brain so taking drugs is the only thing that is physically able to make the brain experience pleasure, and to not do so brings about painful withdrawal symptoms. Knowing this, it becomes clear that addicts don’t need shaming or accusations, they need treatment, just like any other patient with a disease.
