Luxury Addiction Treatment Programs in Cincinnati, Ohio
A 51-Acre Retreat For Addiction Recovery
What does treatment look like at The Ridge?
Five levels of care on a single 51-acre Cincinnati campus: detox, inpatient, PHP, IOP, and outpatient. Four specialty supports — interventions, 72-hour evaluation, dual diagnosis, and aftercare — wrap around the clinical continuum. Most clients move through multiple levels without changing facilities, providers, or records.
How our rehab
treatment programs fit together
Most clients enter through detox or after an intervention, then move down the levels as treatment progresses. Not everyone follows the same order — some start at IOP, some come back to detox after a slip. The map is honest about that.
Five Core Levels of Care
at The Ridge
Our Continuum of Care
-
›Medical Detox →
Medically monitored withdrawal management for alcohol, opioids, sedatives, cannabis, cocaine, and methamphetamine. Most stays run 3 to 7 days. 24/7 nursing manages symptoms with medication when needed.
For you if: daily use, escalating tolerance, or a recent attempt to stop that triggered withdrawal symptoms.
-
›Inpatient Rehab →
Live on the 51-acre Milford campus while undergoing daily clinical work. Two renovated mansions house clients in private rooms with ensuite bathrooms. 24/7 nursing, individual and group therapy, on-site chef, dual-diagnosis assessment.
For you if: detox just completed, home environment unsafe or unstable, or this is your first attempt at residential treatment.
-
›Partial Hospitalization (PHP) →
Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. — group therapy, individual sessions, psychiatric review. Clients return home in the evenings, or to on-campus housing if home isn’t stable yet.
For you if: medically stable, residential complete or not needed, but you still need most of the day in structured treatment.
-
›Intensive Outpatient (IOP) →
Three to five sessions per week, roughly three hours each, evenings or daytime. Clients live at home or in sober living, work part- or full-time, and structure recovery around their schedule.
For you if: stable in early recovery, returning to work or family routines, need clinical structure but not all-day treatment.
-
›Outpatient →
Weekly or bi-weekly therapy sessions, scheduled around work and family. Most outpatient clients are in long-term recovery, with structure tapering as recovery solidifies.
For you if: stepped down from PHP or IOP, in maintenance mode, or your clinical assessment showed lower acuity at intake.

Specialty Supports That Wrap
Around Treatment
These programs run alongside or outside the clinical continuum — some happen before admission, some treat what’s underneath the addiction, some continue for years after.
Interventions
When families need help getting someone into treatment. We coordinate with vetted Cincinnati interventionists and admit same-day once the person agrees.
72-Hour Evaluation
A three-day comprehensive clinical assessment for clients not yet ready to commit to a full program. Often the bridge into a longer stay.
Dual Diagnosis
Addiction rarely shows up alone. We treat depression, anxiety, trauma, and other co-occurring conditions alongside the substance use, with one clinical team.
Aftercare & Alumni
Fifty-two weeks of post-program clinical support plus the nationwide alumni community. Long-term recovery is rarely solo.

Questions People in Your Seat Usually Ask
-
Which level of care do I actually need?
Most clients start with a clinical assessment, not a self-diagnosis. Our admissions team takes about 30 minutes by phone to understand your situation — daily use patterns, withdrawal risk, home stability, work or family demands, mental health history. Based on that, we recommend a starting level (often detox or inpatient, occasionally PHP). You can verify insurance on the same call.
-
Can I work or stay connected to my family during treatment?
Depends on the level of care. Inpatient is 24/7 on-campus with structured family contact through your case manager. PHP and IOP let you live at home or in sober living and work part-time around the treatment schedule. Outpatient lets you maintain full work and family rhythm with weekly sessions. Most professionals plan a 28-to-60-day inpatient block, then step down to PHP or IOP while returning to work. -
Will my insurance cover residential treatment?
Most PPO plans cover residential addiction treatment, including out-of-network. The Ridge is primarily out-of-network with major PPO carriers — verification confirms exactly what your plan reimburses and what the out-of-pocket looks like. Federal Mental Health Parity Act requires coverage for substance use disorder treatment. Call (513) 457-7963 or submit your insurance details and you’ll get verified numbers within hours. -
How private is the campus, really?
The Ridge sits on 51 private acres in Milford, 20 minutes east of Cincinnati. Two renovated mansions house clients with private rooms and ensuite bathrooms. Treatment records are protected under federal law (42 CFR Part 2). For licensed professionals, we coordinate with state Physician Health Programs to protect licensure. No employer or licensing board is notified by us without written consent. -
How long does treatment last?
Depends on the clinical assessment, insurance authorization, and how you respond to treatment. Most clients spend 28 to 60 days in residential inpatient, then 4 to 12 weeks across PHP and IOP combined. Outpatient and aftercare continue for months to a year. Standard 30-day programs aren’t necessarily what works best — length matches clinical need, not a calendar. -
What happens after I finish residential?
Most clients step down through PHP and IOP on the same Milford campus before transitioning home. After discharge, our aftercare program runs for 52 weeks with structured check-ins, plus access to the alumni community — events, mentorship, peer support. Long-term recovery is rarely solo, and the continuum doesn’t end at discharge.
Not sure if this is the right time?
Confidential. No obligation. Most PPO insurance plans accepted.
