The Ridge Ohio Locations FAQ
-
How many locations does The Ridge Ohio have?
Two. The residential campus is a 51-acre estate in Milford, near Cincinnati. The outpatient center is in Westerville, north of Columbus. Clients sometimes use both — detox and residential in Cincinnati, then stepping down to outpatient closer to home.
-
Which location should I go to?
Usually whichever is closer, unless you need a level of care only one of them offers. Medical detox and residential treatment are Cincinnati only. Partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and aftercare run at both. If you are unsure, the assessment settles it — admissions will tell you which level you need before you decide where.
-
Is the Columbus location residential?
No. Columbus is outpatient only — partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, outpatient counseling and aftercare. Clients live at home and attend during the day. If you need supervised withdrawal or 24-hour care, that happens at the Cincinnati campus first, and admissions will arrange it.
-
Do both locations take the same insurance?
Yes. Both are primarily out-of-network with major PPO carriers, and both work with Anthem BCBS, Cigna, Medical Mutual, GEHA, Custom Design Benefits, Ohio Healthy, Beacon, Humana, Optima Health and UMR. Neither accepts Medicare or Medicaid. Verification is the same process for either location and gives you an out-of-pocket figure before you commit.
-
How far is the Cincinnati campus from the city?
The campus is at 25 Whitney Drive, Suite 120, Milford, OH 45150 — about 25 miles northeast of downtown Cincinnati, on a 51-acre estate. Clients drive in from across the Cincinnati metro, Northern Kentucky, and as far as Dayton and Columbus.
-
Can I tour a location before admitting?
Yes, and it is encouraged. Call the location you are considering and admissions will arrange it. Tours are scheduled around client privacy, so they are not walk-in, but they are usually available within a few days. Call (513) 457-7963 for Cincinnati or (866) 628-0278 for Columbus.
