Family Involvement Can Support Recovery During PHP

Recovery affects the whole family, not just the person receiving treatment. When appropriate and with your permission, family members can be involved in parts of the recovery process so they can better understand addiction and learn how to support you.

That may include a family counseling session, a family education session, or conversations about your progress and how family members can support your recovery at home. These discussions can also help improve communication, address misunderstandings, and begin rebuilding trust.

Your privacy remains an important part of your care. Family members are only involved with your permission unless disclosure is required by law. Your treatment team will discuss the level of family involvement that’s appropriate for your situation.

PHP Uses Multiple Therapy Approaches to Support Recovery

Our partial hospitalization program combines evidence-based and experiential therapies because no single therapeutic approach works for everyone. This allows your treatment team to tailor treatment to your clinical needs while helping you build practical coping skills that support long-term recovery.

Depending on your clinical needs, treatment may include:

The goal is to provide ongoing support while helping you transition safely to the next stage of recovery. By stepping down to the appropriate level of care at the right pace, you can continue building on the progress you made in PHP while gaining greater independence over time.
