What is PHP?
Our Partial Hospitalization Program in Ohio bridges the gap between residential and outpatient programs, offering a structured and supportive environment for individuals who no longer need 24/7 care. Life doesn’t stop while in treatment, so we offer scheduling options with the freedom to maintain professional or personal commitments. It’s an ideal option for those transitioning from detox or inpatient treatment.
Each program is tailored to meet individual needs, but on average PHP participants meet with their recovery team 3-5 times each week for several hours of treatment. Participants attend therapy sessions and programming during the day, allowing them to return home in the evenings to spend time with family, attend to work or educational responsibilities, and practice the skills learned in treatment in real-world settings.
Ohio PHP for Addiction & Co-Occurring Mental Health Disorders
Addiction and mental health conditions often co-occur, creating unique challenges for those seeking recovery. Individuals struggling with addiction are more likely to develop mental health issues from drug or alcohol use, such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, or bipolar disorder. Conversely, those with untreated mental health conditions may turn to substance use as a form of self-medication, exacerbating symptoms.
Treating concurrent mental health conditions requires a specialized approach, so our dual-diagnosis programs follow an integrated care model developed by addictionologists and mental health professionals. By incorporating mental health treatment into our Ohio PHP, we address symptoms of addiction and behavioral health conditions simultaneously. This helps clients build a foundation for long-term sobriety, develop healthier coping mechanisms, reduce the likelihood of relapse, improve mood, and increase their quality of life.
Holistic Treatment Interventions for Total Healing
Our Ohio Partial-Hospitalization Program is tailored to address the unique needs of each client, providing a comprehensive array of therapeutic services and evidence-based interventions. From individual counseling and group therapy to psychiatric support and medication management, our multidisciplinary team is dedicated to providing holistic care that addresses the physical, emotional, and psychological aspects of addiction and mental health.
